Meet Jordy Bahl Frahm
Jordy Frahm is one of the most decorated two-way players in NCAA Division I softball history — a dominant pitcher, explosive power hitter, national champion, and elite competitor whose impact on the game extends beyond the field.
A native of Papillion, Nebraska, Jordy emerged as a generational talent in high school, compiling an extraordinary record with sub-1.00 ERAs, nearly 1,000 career strikeouts, and batting averages over .500 while hitting 20+ home runs in multiple seasons. Her dominance earned her Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year, national All-American recognition, and multiple state championships.
University of Oklahoma (2022–2023)
At Oklahoma, Jordy became a central figure in one of the most historic runs in college softball history:
2× Women’s College World Series Champion (2022, 2023)
NFCA National Freshman of the Year (2022)
2× NFCA First-Team All-American
2× Big 12 Pitcher of the Year
Big 12 Freshman of the Year
Across two seasons, she posted a 44–2 record with a 1.00 ERA, nearly 400 strikeouts, and one of the lowest opponent batting averages in program history. She was instrumental in Oklahoma’s national championship runs, performing on the sport’s biggest stage.
University of Nebraska (2024–Present)
Returning home to Nebraska, Jordy elevated her game even further as a true two-way superstar:
Big Ten Player of the Year
Big Ten Pitcher of the Year
NFCA National Player of the Year
NFCA First-Team All-American
She became the first player in Big Ten history to win both Player and Pitcher of the Year honors in the same season.
As a pitcher, she posted approximately a 25+ win season with an ERA around 1.50, ranking among national leaders in strikeouts and opponent batting average.
At the plate, she hit over .450 with 20+ home runs and 60+ RBIs, becoming one of the rare players in NCAA history to record 20+ wins in the circle and 20+ home runs at the plate in the same season.
Her versatility, dominance, and competitive drive have made her one of the defining athletes of modern college softball.
Faith & Personal Life
Beyond her accolades, Jordy is deeply rooted in her Christian faith. She openly shares that her relationship with the Lord is the foundation of her life, guiding her decisions on and off the field. Her faith plays a central role in how she competes, leads, and serves others. In 2025, she married her husband, Trey Frahm, and now proudly carries the name Jordy Frahm.
